Tamil Nadu Vettuvagounder is the principal organisation started wayback by Shri. Puli Gounder of Madurai and other elders. The current sangam is headed by Shri. Ramasamy Engineer karur, Chairman of tamil Nadu vettuvagoudner sangam. The Truserer , Shri Late M. Ramasamy Spear heading with vettuva malar until Augest, 2009. Shiri O. S. N. Sengottuvellapan editor of the vettuvar Malar is heading Tamilnadu Vettuavgounder sangam Vice Chairmamn.

Vettuvagounder sangam decide to reach gross route level expansion and decide to go for poll for new office bearer's selection.

On Sep 13,2009, the community current office bearer's discussed in the presence of Executive Leader Mr. Kanaraj, Malur Mr. Sunderajan, Virapalyam Mr. Muthusamy Gounder, V. Vidthyanadan, Elayamaplayam Palanaisamy, Muthusamy, VenkanakanPalayam Adithayan, Kuttinakan patti Ganesan, Tevampalayam Ponnusamy, Vallanakanpatti Appan, Nallur teacher Subramanian. They decide to enhance the community participation with expaning the Special Membership with a form of 25 members. They will create a gross route level expansion of community.
